Re:Address Housing Week is happening in Vancouver between October 24 and October 29 2016.

The week soft launched with a Monday morning walking tour of the Woodward’s Project which I joined.

While there is no 1-to-1 direct comparison between this Development in Vancouver and others in Toronto, despite Regent Park instantly jumping top to mind.

Perhaps an unintended indicator of city building can be gleaned from Woodward’s example.

If at the Project’s Conclusion, everyone still has the same complaints about, or, the same patience in working with the “other side”, housing will get built.

Be it mixed-income, social housing for Families, or market value units.
